yes that would be the best move make sure you when you downgrade you have sony eboot

Hang on a second... it's after midnight? Oh my God it has been EXACTLY a year since I got my PSP with the primary intention of playing homebrew on it. If only I knew back then how complicated it actually is. Heh. Funny.

Hey Chuthbert, could you tell me how you got the downgrader to work? I had the same "NOT TA-79-81" problem, even though I know for sure that my psp is not a TA-082. Did you just keep trying over and over and got lucky?
