2.80 Easy downdater Installer Released

would it be better 4 me 2 try this downgrader and try 2 get 3.02 custom (w/e that is) or should i jus update to 2.81??
i have 2.8 and i want 2 play socom BADLY lol

PSMan62: You are better off downgrading to 1.5 and then installing 3.02OE-B as it is a higher firmware version then 2.81 and it gives you so many more options, e.g. running you ps1 games.

i don't really use homebrew, except 4 my gba games and the occasional program

and if i update to 3.03, would i be able 2 d/l the official ps1 roms (the ones that ppl hacked and/or uploaded so that the general public can get to it)on my psp?

No. If you update to 3.0 or 3.03 you'll have to go buy a $600 PS3 (if you don't have one) so you can buy $5 PS1 games. You can't d/l official PS1 games without owning a PS3. I've read dozens of success's on this downgrade with those who DON'T have a TA-82 board. I, on the other hand have a TA-82 board in mine so i'm gritting my teeth alot

What is the best version for the aesy downgrader .0.1 or 0.2?

What is difference in version 0.2?

I just used the 0.2 version and it worked great 2.8 --> 1.5 this is so great
