3.03 Decrypted!

Yeah, what an amazing week. I've been tied up with the chaos of Christmas and have not been able to keep up to much with the latest developments. But man, 3.02 OE from Dark_AleX is such an amazing accomplishment. Being able to play PSX EBOOTs without having to use SONY's dumb method is one of the best developments lately if you ask me.

I have never tried 2.71 SE and have stuck with 1.50. But I think I am going to update to 3.02 OE-B when Dark_AleX is finished with it.

Same here bro, im waiting for 3.02OE-B to come out. I always enjoyed the purity of 1.5 but its about time for an update and custom firmware seems to be the wave of the future. If devhook come with the ability to play psx games on psp then il use that instead....

i dont mind updating to a new custom firmware..its cool that we can soon use our own iso images of psx games..thatll be my fav. thing on the psp to ever do. play sotn during class

ok if iam still running 1.5 plus 2.71 would i still be able to go back to 1.5 anytime i want if i use this upgrade some please tell me because i dont want to brick my psp

will 3.02 OE-B leave us with even less rom than we have left now ?????????? already I'm thinking obout going back to 2.71 se-c as I'm not too keen on playing with 20.3mb used 0.0 to spare and all I have is disabled features and blood claw gameboot.

You can save flash0 room by deleting the gameboots and using kando and team's gameboot program. it loads Gameboots from the ms.

and why would we want to emulate 3.03 like noone has a ps3. i know i dont.

it is physicly IMPOSSIBLE to brick your psp with devhook lol.

what devhook does is basicly EMULATES the firmware so its like:

Flash = 1.50

and it basicly makes your firmware 2.71 untill you do a hard reset (hold the power switch for 5-10 seconds) i have the 2.71 emulator devhook so i have 1.50 and can still have web browser
