psp_sfdm: through HEN-D i think a ta-82 does indeed have kernel acess, without which devhook would not work.

    thanx, TacticalBread,

dude i seem to be too much of a newbie to get that !?

i did create the DATA.DXAR, everything went fine, but i'm now a little scared to flash 'course i couldn't find where to put the named folder in any of the forums or faq's.

so i think u mean that after flashing i do have to put the folder in the /Games302 folder ???

You can read my guide how to make the PS1 games have their own savefile and their own savegame name.

OK, just read through 41 pages of posts wow! I have a few questions that were not covered anywhere.

    1. I see some people were converting their PAL games to NTSC. How is this done?

    2. I am new to custom firmwares and will be upgrading my 1.5 to 3.02 oeb (hopefully if i can lol), what difference is there in using kernel mode 3.02 vs kernel mode 1.5?

    3. If I upgrade to 3.02 oeb will I have to redo all of my homebrews that are kxploited and move them into a new folder? IE game, game150 etc.

Im at work now and just want to get everything ready by the time I get home haha. Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Found a great A to Z guide on here for setting up the firmware and using popstation posted by Synthesis. It has all the files and everything you need, check it out here:

    Anyone problems so far ?

btw i also hope D.A. is going to release a PAL-fix soon
ya i think there is a problem cause im usen a microdrive with neogeo... and i always get the error game could not be started (8003201) or something like that.. i should get my 4gig stick in the mail soon so if i get that and everything runs fine it will be a yes that microdrives do not read fast enough for the psx emulation.

    What an amazing xmas pressie!

I've finaly jumped ship and seen the light and upgraded my 1.5 to this new golden firmware. The prospect of actualy being able to play my ps1 games on my psp was just too great... this is truly unbelievable.

The fact that strider 2 and granturismo2 are 100% perfect for me is fantastic!

    Happy days.
