3.02OE-B. This is the best ever, seriously.

I'm still using FW 1.00, on my japanese PSP-1000 TA-079! (I even keep the language set to japanese- the default language )
I still have my UP modchip sealed in its box, because I didn't want to replace FW 1.00 on the PSP.

I've never updated it even once, but 3.02OE-B sounds pretty good now...

    Still, I won't update!
I am determined to get everything working on FW 1.00 someday... no matter how long it takes, or however impossible that may be!
(I may buy a second PSP for 3.02OE-B in the mean time tho )

I just upgraded my 1.5 to 3.02 OEB with no regrets....this is the best thing yet for the PSP. I assume that when the 8gb memory sticks come out they will work using this?

    not sony 3.03
    but dark alex and friends

    3.03oe'

oe means open edition, its a hybrid between 1.5 and 3.03 so you can play homebrew and use the osnys official psx emu to play your own psx games

I guess thats pretty old skool, in PSP terms. 3.03OE-A2 is the place to be, in my opinion!

Correct me if I'm wrong but; I was a fan of the 3.03OE-C firmware, but then I discovered 3.10OE-A' (with bugfix) and found that that was similar but newer. The only difference aside from PSX emulation refinements was that you couldn't customize XMB and certain plugins didn't run. If I had to choose, I'd have to go with 3.10OE-A' simply because of the fact that it is pushing the limits of PSP hacking and is the latest and greatest.

Ok, so if you are looking for homebrew and emulation, I'd suggest the latest 3.10 OE-A'.

But if you are just whining for a customized XMB wave, Icons, Submenu Icons, etc. get 3.03 OE-C
