FYI, The save game fix from above is not of my creation. I don't want to take props away from the user to whom appears to have found this solution. Earlier when I posted I couldn't find the link back to the site where I got this information from. I however googled again and located it.

Please give credit where it is due. Glad I could help spread the info, but again it's not my fix.

I would say to everyone that it may take a bit more time finding images for the icon0.png, pic0.png, and pic1.png, but in the end it's well worth the effort. When viewing your saves from the XMB you won't be able to tell what is what without changing those images. I highly recommend doing it.

just to be clear...hopefully not flamed...since for some reason no one directly answered me or posted it on the first page (which I think it should be)

if i tried to update my ta-082 1.5 emulated psp to this, would it brick? since it mentions flashing in there, and I'm sure i COULD update it, i just don't want it to be bricked.

could someone please answer me, i just want to know, and i never get a direct answer.

Eh I tried with silent hill NTSC and I still get a blank screen as if the emulator cannot find the image file, the menu (Assing Buttons, Screen Mode and so on) appears to be working fine though ..help :/

Don't try it, it will brick your PSP. I think the reasoning was that TA-082's were designed to reject files from 1.50, which this uses.

For instance if you do use the Hot Shots 2 game as your base.pbp it will use SCUS94476 as the disc name. Just open you new PBP in any hex editor and change the numerical value 94476 to something else. Make sure to use the same number of characters. I used 95001 and increment by 1 on each new PBP for my games. Just seemed easier to track so I don't accidentally reuse a number. Once it's changed it will allow you to save without overwriting the others.

I assume with multi disc games (FF7 for instance) each PBP will have the same disc ID number since on a multigame disc you will want it to save in the same file.

    Does that seem correct?
theres more than one SCUS94476 in the PBP, replace them all with your new number in the HEX Editor?

Make sure you're using the program UltraISO or Alcohol 120%, people are reporting problems with other programs.
