    He maybe able to.

Although he would never release his software to do it.

WTF? where do you even get the idea that there could be a downdater? This new PSP can be HARDDOWNED to fw1.5. IE the hardware is capable of running fw1.5 but you'll have to flash it by opening it up and writing directly to the flash chip.

Yeah, I'd hope that they realease a 1000MB internal memory version, but I think that that just might refer to the model number? Anyone with more insight?
    edit:
teh mb stands for "Metallic Blue"

YES! it is possible to downgrade, your just gonna have to tear apart the psp and reprogram the chip manually... aka a harddown as opposed to a softdown, which 0okm has unfortuanly canned! 1.5 looks like ita gonna be a hassel for ta-82+ for a VERY long time yet! Even when 0okm DID state he had success with a soft down he said the procedure was Different for EVERY PSP and each would take 45 mins of work to do so

1000MB is serial number for 1000 Metallic Blue. MB is Metallic Blue.

My PSP is 1004k, but it doesn't mean it has 1004kbytes of memory! :P

Well I guess the TA-086s can be modchiped, but I still probably wouldn't get a modchip.
