About FW1.00/1.50 on TA-082~086 PSP

Many people ask about :
can run xxx Homebrew on "FW1.00/1.50 TA-082~086 PSP" ?
so i post this information :P

TA-082~086 PSP with CORRECT HACK,
it can run ALL FW1.00/1.50 Official / Homebrew software !!!
(except Official FW1.50~2.50 UpDate EBOOT.PBP)

TA-082~086 PSP with CORRECT HACK can run Any FW(1.00~3.03) :P
it can't run Official FW1.50~2.50 UpDate EBOOT.PBP
but it can run UnOfficial Up/DownDate EBOOT.PBP :P

if a FW1.00/1.50 TA-082~086 PSP can't run ANY FW1.00/1.50 Official / Homebrew software,
that mean it haven't CORRECT HACKed :P

Ok ill let you all try and work out what that means

Basically from what I gathered, it says that TA-082/TA-086 motherboards with something called CORRECT HACK can run ALL homebrew software but CANNOT run official Sony update PBP's from 1.50-2.50. It appears that this can only be done with custom Firmware updates/downdates (from any version 1.00-3.03) and not actual official Firmwares. This CORRECT HACK sounds pretty good for higher mobo users, hopefully they too can soon enjoy portable PS1 emulation

I don't think he meant "something called" Correct Hack. I believe he meant that a TA-082/086 PSP, with THE correct hack, CAN run homebrew, BUT it cannot run update eboots for 1.50-2.50 (kinda necessary for a downgrader...)

The second part I believe is clarification of the first, but I believe he also mentions that TA-082/086 PSPs can operate with any firmware, but since it cannot run 1.50-2.50 update eboots, downgrading isn't possible.

On his site he clarifies that a SoftDown (Soft-Downgrader; I believe this is a downgrader that changes the PSP's version number to 1.0 then that allows you to 'update' to 1.50) on TA-082/086 will NOT work (I suppose because these PSPs cannot run 1.50-2.50 update eboots). However it holds some promise for a 'Hard Downgrade', which involves deleting flash entirely and rewriting it with the lower firmware's files.

This indicates to me, that Sony tried to directly thwart downgrading by making these new motherboards NOT ALLOW the running of 1.50-2.50 update eboots. (Running the 1.50 eboot is NECESSARY for downgrading).

Dark Alex and Math announced a TA-082 downgrader on other sites tonight. It's being tested now, and will release this week. I think Ookm helped them find the "Correct Hack" that allows TA-082-086 Mobo's to Run Custom Firmware.
