So I'm guessing that between the 2 steps requiring 75% battery, the psp will need to be recharged?

    - Get the official sony 1.50 eboot and put it in the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder with the name of
    UPDATE.PBP

so do i put the replace the eboot inside the update folder or do i rename the eboot to "update.pbp"?

    - The program will exit to the XMB. Now execute the generic downgrade, which will show in the xmb
as "Update X.YX" in the psp language.

HELP mines said update x.yz not x.yx

I would love very much to do this, but I just cant seem to figure some things out.. Such as how to simply run HEN D, or to install it for that matter, I've downloaded everything, winrar and all, I'm just really confused. This is why I bought a PSP, my NES stopped working (RIP) and I just want to play my old games again.

Is that so much to ask?

Any help would be welcomed and appreciated.

    Ok, so now I'm worried.
I followed all the steps word for word.

    1) Put everything in the necessary folders on my PSP
    2) Ran HenD
    3) Double checked the System Settings -> System Information -> System Software (said "2.71 HEND")
    4) Went to Game -> Memory Stick and ran "TA082 IdStorage Change"
    5) Hit "X" once it launched and verified I really wanted to do this.
    6) It finished, went back to XMB
    7) Went to Games -> Memory Stick and then ran "PSP Update ver 1.50"

    It then tells me:
"The system software of your PSP system is version 2.71. There is no need to update."

What the heck did i do wrong?!
I'm now scared to shut my PSP down.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
