    Default 2.71 TA-082 Downgrading Guide

Here is my little guide to downgrading a TA-082 motherboard.

I would have the battery charged full first

THIS IS FIRMWARE 2.71 TA-082 NOT ANYTHING ABOVE

Here are the links to the files you will need:

    TA-082 Downgrader
    1.50 Eboot
2.71 HEN D You do not need this if you have it installed already

1.Copy the UPDATE and idstoragechange folders into X:/PSP/GAME/
Where X is your drive letter

2.Get the 1.50 Eboot and rename it to UPDATE.PBP and place it in the UPDATE folder.

3.Run HEN D or install it.Depending on weather you have it installed yet.

4.This should be your whole setup including HEN (Its always best to check first) Look at the picture to check if everything is in the right place

5.Start the idstoragechange. It needs 75% battery.
It will change some keyes of your idstorage needed to downgrade the TA-082.

6.The program will exit back to the XMB (I know there is a few people that dont know what the XMB is.It is just the menu that says GAME ,VIDEO,PHOTO)

6.Now execute the generic downgrade, which will show in the xmb
as "Update X.YX" in the psp language.

7.It will need 75% Battery but its best to have it fully charged to be on the safe side.It will start the downgrade to 1.5

8.Once it has finished it will ask you to push X.Press it

9.If it went Ok you should get the BSOD(Blue screen of death)Press O to restore your settings just like when you purchased the PSP.

If it didnt go Ok you have a Brick
