PSP: TA082 2.71 Easy downgrader released

How would I go about doing this if I have 2.60? Is it possible to upgrade just to 2.71? Also once I get to 1.5 can I then upgrade to any firmware version to play homebrew games or use the PS1 emulation?

Guys, I know I'm a noob, but can some one please walk me through this as if I we're a two year old. Seriously, I just traded in my 3.11 PSP + 2 PS3 games + MOH Heroes for a v2.60 ta-082 PSP then upgraded it to a v2.71 PSP and I need a walkthrough for this. The README was not conclusive enough for my level of n00bness. Can one of you 1337 h4x0rz plz help.

Try WINRAR its the best one out there ( its what extracts it for you, its just a trial but itll get the job done)
