    Just use a hex editor, it doesn't take expert anything as the thread suggests.

    thats true... its easy.... but this method is also much quicker... although i have not gotten it to actually run the game after using this... any help?

    Okay, a note to anyone who uses this. BACK UP YOUR GAME FIRST IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. I lost a few hours of play time in FF-VIII because I patched it without knowing what the "Game ID" was.

    The Game ID can be, for example, "SCUS00001". If I'm not mistaken, you need to patch a game if you have more than one on your memory stick, so you have one with the ID of "SCUS00001", and another with the ID of "SCUS00002".

    The title thing doesn't really work, though.
