Default Calling All 3.02 OE Users

I have noticed that when i try to set a wallpaper on OE B it doesnt seem to stay.So when i switch my PSP off then back on again the wallpaper is gone.Is there a way to fix this or is it just me.I know that The_Ultimate_Eggman is getting the same problem as well.

Mine arose after i ran devhook 0.52 im not saying this was the cause but prior to that all was well, i can apply my wallpaper but on restart it defaults back to the plain monthly one.I have been sent a flash 1 formater by a source that shall remain anon but im to scared to use it if any one has a fix or can code one let the world know.

works for me....i havent used devhook 0.52 (no need for it) so maybe that has something to do with it (I used to have problems on 2.71 SE after using flash install on devhook 0.51)

I havent used Devhook on it yet although i might do a firmware dump and have a look

EDIT: Strange i went to dump my firmware with X Flash and got this

X flash has detected that you registry version does not match your firmware version. This maybe a result of a firmware upgrade. You should restore the PSP's unit default.Through the PSP xmb menu and reenter your settings

perhaps the upgrade did not format flash1 correctly. I notice it carried over alot of my settings from 2.71 when I upgraded. When I went to system settings I got the blue screen and everything reset. My backgrounds save with no problems. I bet getting the BSoD, which then resets flash1 is the fix, so I guess doing a reset to defaults would do the same.

edit: Did you guys get the BSoD when you upgraded?

edit 2: I just checked my friends PSP which I had upgraded earlier today and didn't get the BSoD. His backgrounds are saving fine, so there goes that theory.

It's really easy to sort out. Go to settings, theme settings, wallpaper and select yes. Then go to your Photo's and choose you wallpaper.

    I'm not having that problem...

I'm running 3.02 OE-B, with wallpaper set, and nothing like that has ever happened to me.

@ steve-b: yes, I also got the BSoD when I went to system settings when i upgraded. Since then, no more problems at all.
