    I've been doing some tests,

all of my 3 x 2gb cards are fake, suposed to be sony.
Strangely they work fine so far (!!!).

my 2 x 1gb cards show as (1 sony, 1 sandisk) "compatible" wich means they are true, also the 32 mb card wich comes bundled with the system.

So we're surrounded by this $#@!!! Beware!.

Thumbs down Fake A$$ $hit. Ebay SONY 2GB 4GB MS PRO DUO BAD READ WRITES

Allow me to add to this.

I have bought a few fake ass sony 4GB MS PRO DUO, from ebay, i wont mention the sellers.

I have had lots of trouble getting reliable free space, and performance,. under 3 gig usage, Freezes, Corrupted Data.

I suppose i could have suspected this with the cheapo price, , ( all around £25-30 delivered )

I have also purchased (for myself), a (£90) 2GB SanDisk Ultra II, and a (£80) 4GB Sony PRO DUO. Both from USA, with vouchers discounts, from reputable stores.

    These MS present no problems,

I bought these as soon as they were released, to access the potential of the PSP, Video , Music and Backup's.

With all my hands on experience of PSP/Homebrew/Flashing a Bad MS is the last thing you want.

Its should be a Drag n Drop breeze, not this tedious chore of waiting for files to transfer, then they dont work, or appear at all. WTF??

If it reads MAGICGATE : 'UNKNOWN' in the Memory card information
(select the memory stick icon, press Triangle, then X for Information)

    YELL FAKE!!!
