Not that I know of. He developed some homebrew for the PSP before working at Sony.

There's probably alot of "spies"(if you want to call them that) on the bigger forums/web pages with constant hacking news of consoles. Of course they keep themselves updated how people are exploiting the console to prevent it in further updates, such as the firmware updates on PSP.
They probably have a "test PSP" as well that they run all kinds of major homebrew on in order to work on it to make it not possible to run them.
But, then again, not everyone working for sony does neccecerly have to be one of those.
