Default PSP Browser really Netscape 4.0?

A few scripts that tell you your IP address when your looking for maps or those common Forum sigs say the PSP browser is really Netscape, so did Sony build it off a old version of the browser everyone had in the 90s?

I doubt it, I did not see anything about a license or Netscape on the About screen of the PSP =/

    It's called NetFront.

Also the HTTP_USER_AGENT from the browser is sent as Mozilla/4.0 (PSP (PlayStation Portable); 2.00) so perhaps the Mozilla 4.0 bit causes websites to call it Netscape.
