    Default Helping Friend Downgrade 2.71

Ok my friend wanted to downgrade for the homebrew and i'm helping him use the easy downgrader

i have every thing set up and ready, but i was just wondering if anyone knew why there is a probability in the black/red screen.

my friend just wants to know because he (and i) are curious.

why can't it just be the red screen, and then downgrade? why does it randomly work?

    thank you!

    -cheers-

i have no idea, first does he have a TA-082 mother board? if so then just use the normal manual downgrader for the mother board, i heard of bricks from the easy downgrader..

It is random due to the fact that the exploit does not 'kick in' every time the image is viewed.

I'm far from an expert but i beleive basically a well formatted image can push some unsigned code into places in memory that have full privileges and run it. I'm guessing the exploit just doesnt allow that to happen 100% of the time, so you just keep trying till it does
