Tomba! PSX problems

Ok here is my problem.

I got Tomba! to work but it gets to a pic. of a forest thing and freezes... I heard that you have to do certain stuff to get them both to work proply is that true? Any suggestions

EDIT: Nevermind I have figured it out I need Tombi not Tomba to work.

My Tomba! and Tomba! 2 USA versions work perfectly only problem is with Tomba! you have to hit "x" at the opening video because it will freeze but after that it's fine. I didn't have to get any PAL version or convert it to anything like that. If you have any questions holla at ya boy.
