I don't suppose this little trick could be exploited for PSP homebrew purposes (on 3.x+ firmwares) at all?
It's already a nifty way to get NES emulation on non-downgraded PSPs. ^^

It'd be so awesome if there were a way to get the simpsons arcade game working for psp. I was searching for a psx mame emulator, but my dreams have been crushed. For now, I'll stick with playing the $#@!ty dos version on dosbox.
