H@ly crap! Don't clear your flash 0 dude. You need alot of those files. If you go in your flash deleting stuff; you better know what your doing. Messing with your flash can PERMANENTLY ruin your PSP.

This is the way to repair your PSP when Xflash gives you the boot :P, If you know what you are doing of course

there is some stuff you can remove (mainly in resources, which is the mp3 player, web browser, etc) but it is risky, so if you dont know how to do it, its best not to tell you to save an accidental brick.
