    Default 3.02 Oe-b ????

Hi guys i just installed the new 3.02 oe-b and notice something. When i turn the psp on it stays in a black screen for like 6 seconds before anything starts is this normal or is something wrong. I installed it exactly like Darks instructions sayd. I formated my memory and everything. I also did so from 1.50 version so any ideas on why this is happening.

The slightly longer delay when you switch on the PSP with custom firmware 3.02 OE-B is normal. I figure it's because the machine loads the 1.50 subset and then the main 3.02 firmware afterwards. However, it's just my guess.

Yeah it says in the readme that this is normal, it just due too bootstrapping the firmwares.

if what i read over at maxconsole is true, thats exactly right. apparantly the 1.5 subset devhooks the 3.02 firmware (in SE it devhooked the 2.71 firmware), which is why this firmware cannot be devhooked

Well, that's a surprise to hear.

As for the 6 second delay, I have gotton used to it ever since 2.71 SE-A first came out. It has never bothered me.
