Road Rash gives me problems now. Destruction derby 2 also. Mortal kombat trilogy doesn´t work at all and strider takes forever to load.
Anybody else having problems with any ps1 games?
Yeah Road Rash 3D seems to constatly open up the pause menu every 2 seconds....

also FF7 seems to skip the swirl transition when entering a battle...

BTW both games I tested were converted using popstation 3.02

We'll see if good ol' DA can pinpoint the problem and create a Rev B to squash these bugs

I get the FF7 Battle screen "flicker" but I don't think it will be too much of a problem seeing as how it saved a whole lot of memstick space and I think I can look past that. Also, note that future 3.03 OE firmwares may fix issues in compression that will fix errors like this.

nobody has asked this to my knowledge......i started a game of Gran Turismo 2 in the previous version and want to know if i compressed it in the new version wud there be anyway of loading the saved game from the other one?

or do i have to start over again if i need to compress the game, either way it doesnt matter too much i suppose because i can keep the big Gran Turismo and shrink the other games

I think that if you include the same game code, ie "SCUS10021" or whatever you named it, you may be able to access the same stuff, though that's just my guess, I haven't test it myself, though I plan too.

If anyone else knows say something.

You should be ok if beforehand you changed the Game ID from Hot Shots Golf 2 to Grand Turismo. Otherwise, the SLUS ID will not match the save you have and the game will fail to load. If this is the case, don't panic, when compressing the image type "Hot Shots Golf 2" SCUS94476 <your image file name.iso>

For future games you add, make sure you change the game id so not to overwrite your game save

thanks i understand how it works now, for some reason i thought the emulator saved it in the folder of the game but i forgot that it actually does save it to the memory stick so its all good.
Gran Turismo 2 i can carry on playing
