Default new psp owner soon, got a few questions

im buying a 1.5 from my friend, and have been reading alot on this site. so my questions are

    1. can the newer 3.02 oeb run emulaters such as snes, nes (sorry if illegal to talk about)
    2. should i upgrade to 3.02 or keep 1.5, and can 3.02 run homebrew or can just 1.5 do that stuff

thanks for your replies and i might have more questions when i get it this weekend

    1. Yes it can run all homebrew(well 99.9% of all homebrew)

    2. I think you should upgrade to 3.02 oeb but I know some people will debate about it.

    3. Forget 3.02 oe b and go with 3.03 oe a same thing as oeb but you can compress the ps1 isos and has various bug fixes.

Yes every time you flash your psp there is a chance of bricking.

I haven't heard of anyone bricking there psp and I've done it a bunch of times so if you put everything in the rite place than your fine.

Updating/Downgrading a PSP is like driving a car. If you do it right there's very little chance of anything going wrong, but there's always a chance, simply because you cannot control all the factors.
