Default Datel HDD + PS1 Emulator Issue

It has become apparent that many users(including myself) of Dark_Alex's new OE Firmwares are having trouble running PS1 games(specifically Crash Bandicoot). These users all appear to have one thing in common: they were silly enough to buy the Datel Hard Drive

The purpose of this post is to hopefully raise awareness of this problem and bring about a quicker fix to it(if one is possible)

Simple, don't buy them in the first place and get an official high capacity Sony pro duo memory stick instead. I never trused buying those hard drives right from the start in case they overheated.

Hello all unfortunate Datel HDD users.

I've found a long thread where people like you and me can seek refuge: a sanctuary for cheap PSP users.

It's all about the PS1 Datel issue. There is no fix yet but this looks like the most promising place to find one.
However, if there is no solution in 10 days I'm off to buy a nice fat memory stick.
