try ripping your disc again, with alcholol 120 i think thats the name of the program, there u can choose the ripping speed. ultraISO i think rips at highest speed possible, wich can damage the iso, i think that your game is damaged

    Hi
I had the same problem - 80000004 error when loading PSX games
They did work fine - but for the second time when i resumed the emulator from standby, it froze and corrupted my memory stick. I recovered the data, but now I can't load PSX games (apart from official Sony ones)
    I've tried:
    1) Re--installing 3.03 OE-A (+A' + B)
    2) Recovering to 1.5, then installing 3.03 OE-A (+A' + B)
    3) Deleting previous save data for the games
    4) Re-converting the PSX game
    5) Re-formatting the memory card using Windows
    6) Re-formatting the memory card using the PSP
    7) Pressing X lots of times during and after the warning screen (I heard that works)

Nothing has worked, and I still can't play my PSX games (other than my official Crash Bandicoot). It was working fine before, so I can't understand why it's suddenly not working.
Perhaps this is a bug that can be fixed by Dark_AleX?

okay I installed 3.10a over 3.03c and the upgrade horked a couple things.

    1) My web browser always blue-screened, I fixed it by resetting the PSP to defaults.

    2) Raiden Project would always give me a 80000004 error. I tried upgrading to 3.10a' and using the popsloader plugins 3.00 through 3.11 and they all gave me the error. I tried deleting the game from MSPD and re-copying it from the PC, still no go. I then updated the icons/pics for the eboot on PC and deleted the save game from the MSPD then re-copied it again and it works now. Not sure what fixed it, but I would bet it was deleting the save file.

Note I also have Silent Hill, R-Type Delta (pal), Final Fantasy IX (disc 1,2,3) and Klonoa on the same MSPD, and none of them have had this problem. Thankfully as I would hate to delete my disc 3 save for FF9.
