Global shortage of diodes, huh? I still think it wasn't fair for the UK to miss out on this console. In any case, I wonder if this is the 20GB or the 60GB version?

Bah, I work in an electronics store, we have hundreds of diodes, illl swap some with Sony for a PS3 if they want £335, sound ok for the 60Gb version, but i'll wager it's gonna be for the 20Gb

If really is just the 60GB version to the UK, well that's all good then. That £335 price tag wouldn't be too bad for that model. (I remember when the first version of the PS2 was launched, it was then being sold at £400.)

this could turn out true if you think about it. the £ sterling is now so strong sony could lower the price and still make the same return as they do in america. If this is true the i love sony i was alright on paying the £425

i remember some places bein as much as £700. a friend of mine had 1 when they were 1st released and his mother (as braindead as she is) paid £700. and not from ebay!!
