Im new to her, and im falling in love with her voice. It is so different. She made me feel the same way Devendra Banhart did when i first listened to his singing. Slightly confused, i didnt know wether to love or hate it, and before i had realised, I was hooked. (someone said, "you look hooked" and i said "oh!" Thats how that worked)

its a shame there are not more classicly[spell?] trained musicians around, there are too few and i it pains me so!

in other news... my latest book : "the zurau aphorisms" a newly edited collection of franz kafkas said aphorisms, finally in the format that kafka left them... it is most pleasing to find that my beliefs on kafka taken from his novels, are so expertly documented in a "true" form by the man himself. not since my reading of Nietzsche have i have i witnessed such wonderous ecomony of language !

Cool ill try and check it out. Being economic with language reduces the use of the sounds, "ummm" and "errr" and various profanity overusage. It sounds nice and allows an economic person to intimidate someone he/she doesnt like.

I like the sig, but what if the self mastery is in the context of a martial art? It requires action. It would be sweet if i could contemplate my way through my black belt grading...

economy is the sign of the most wise! for a person to communicate the extremities of a net of thoughts through a single sentence is the most marvellous beauty i have yet to see. one of my reasons for reading such material is from a purely linguistic perspective, and i find myself being played upon by the lexis and philosohpy in alternate and overlapping joy.

as to the subject of martial arts, as i always said; if all is a human construct, and we are the constructors then who is to make the rules but ourselves?

[the answer i believe is use all to your purpose, for nothing is true beyond yourself...]

the book was £10 from waterstones, but its nice and small, so you can fit it in a pocket, and if you are anything like me you'll never want to be without it.
funny thing , i started writing down the pages which touched me the most... but i ended up choosing very nearly all of them!
