    unless you flash a new font, gameboot, etc every day for your psp i dont think you need to worry, any risks are clearly labelled in the flash write application readme files.

    ok that sets me a bit more at ease for my psp even though im not the one who started this thread it realy came in handy:P

    I wouldnt worry though updating to a custom firmware is similar to updating to a official sony update

    i got the one with the blue screen when i tried to run a game on GpSP...

    wow man that sucks well at lest it wasent fatel right good luck in the future.... me myself have nevr come close to being bricked unless u count the huge risk of downgrading from 2.80-2.71 on a TA-082 than to 1.5 and than to ma first custom fw. but thats as close as i ever came pheww glad i didnt screw it up lol
