Well no one is forcing you to update are they?
This will be a welcome addition to some, for others it will bear no significance, but that is no reason to say it is a let down, its a small update and some bug fixes, kinda like Sony do with all there firmware.

You're not the only one, I think I bricked one of my PSPs with Cintro and it can't display the recovery mode either

. I am wondering how I can get it to work again. At least I still have 2 working units.

I found this link for 3GP converter--it's freeware so...

and you can follow my tutorial...

First download my zip file attached, and place the .ini file into the 3GP directory -- it's just got an .ini will instructions as suggested by DAX in the readme

eg mine was

Desktop\3GP_Converter034\3GP_Converter034\default_ setting

but make sure it gets into the default_setting directory

and then run the setup.exe and choose Transcoding_PSP-DAX-3.03_OE-B.ini

lauch the application and just drag and drop files and you're ready to go!
