xbox 360 Dirty socks and magazines sold in the Xbox 360

    via gamegaiden

Wal-Mart is under the attack again for selling a supposably normal product to a customer which turns out to be something quite unexpected. Wal-Mart just sold a new Microsoft Zune which was found with pornography before the owner got a hold of it. So now they got another case on their hands.

Marissa Gonazales bought a Xbox 360 for Christmas and when it was opened the next day her family found that it was full of dirty socks and stacks of magazines. Apparently when Marissa tried to talk to the employees at Wal-Mart they kept brushing her off by sending her to different people.

“Since Christmas day, Marissa has spent a lot of time on the phone. She says she has talked to five Wal-Mart store managers ranging from department, district and general managers. A store who Always promises low prices, has $460 of Marissa’s hard earned money and all she has in return is useless dirty socks and magazines, not the XBOX 360 she thought she purchased.”

Lesson learned here is check the ruddy box first :P

Paying £236 for an Xbox 360 console and getting a package full of dirty trash is definately not on.

It sounds to me like the lady just wants to get some money out of walmart/microsoft. Remember the lady who planted a finger in her chili at wendy's. She ended up in jail.

I guess this is some 3rd/2nd world countrys idea of a joke to get back at Walmart for their employment practises eh. Before it leaves China, India, etc factories they probably switch a few of em!

But seriously Walmart is really getting bad publicity with this kind of stuff.
