    it's pretty simple and failsafe.

You just download it, extract the 2 folders from the rar, put them in your PSP/GAME folder, and run the Installer from the Game > Memory Stick folder.

If you want to be extra safe, have a charged battery and plug it into a wall, too.

And DON'T remove the memory card or turn off the power during the process. When it gets to "restart your psp manually," hold down your power for a few seconds, then power on.

    Hey mate.
Well there is absolutly no bricking chances as long as you dont disconnect anything or dont have over 75% battery.
Just take it easy and follow a guide somewhere.
Though if you wanna play the 2.81 games like, vice city, portable ops and socomII you well probleby have to get a umd cd and a pretty new devhook to get them launched.

All what you need to do is follow the instructions carefully and if you do everything right everything should go to plan i've done about 20 PSP's for family and friends and none of them have bricked

always do upgrades with the power lead plugged in. if i drop my psp from anything over a foot onto the floor, the battery shifts just enough to shut the psp off . you dont want that in the middle of a flash. but then if my 4yr old drops it while running on to the stone tiles, the umd goes one way, the battery another and the ms dissapears under the fridge somewhere, you definately don't want that while flashing. good job they bounce well.

and varify the checksums of the files you create, as it says in the readme, before flashing it.

I've upgraded both my non TA-082 PSP's from 1.50 to 3.03 OE-B and my nephew's TA-082 down to 1.50 and up to 3.03 OE-B. It was really easy and it's so worth it. I didn't use the easy upgrader. I just downloaded each thing and did it manually. Just read, reread and triple check yourself and then do it. Some people have done things like not unzipping the eboots before copying them to their memory cards etc. Just make sure you did everything right and it will work.
