psp not recognizing mssticks

my psp does not recognise my mssticks any memory stick unless i put it in while applying pressure to the top. and this happens with all my memory stick duo's. The light just keeps flashing! But ive mastered putting it while applying pressure i just want to see if any of you experiance this problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

The only problem i ever had was i placed my mo=emory stick in, the light would flash every second or so, but the XMB could not see it.

After a while I found out that my memory stick was fake. That was the reason. Don't know if it is thae same problem as yours, but its possible

I have the exact same problem you described.

well it happens to my fake 2GB(from ebay.)

And it happens to my 32mb that arrived with my psp do you think that both could be fake?
