Do DC Light guns work on a plasma tv?

Do DC Light guns work on a plasma tv?

The TV I've got is an older style plasma (not a HD one) and I'm running it through a s-video lead for an improved pictue. I was thinking about buying a light gun (and house of the dead 2) cheap on ebay but I wasnt sure if this would even work?? I've heard rumours that it might not be compatible, but I was hoping this wasnt the case?

Any help and information would be much apreciated.



edit: I've found a lightgun on the internet that does work with plasmas but it seems its only for xbox, pc or ps2 http://www.erealgames.com/index.html

Anbody know if theres something similar for my beloved DC?

My understanfding is that light gun games do not work on LCD or plasmas (I was hoping I might be wrong though seeing my TV is not a HD plasma?).

I thought someone on this site might have a similar setup with a gun that works??

I've also heard they don't work on anything but CRT TV's.

No ones posted anything about it working for them on a plasma so i'll asume its a no go.
