Nebie question

hi ppl, I am new to all this DS homebrew stuff since i have gone for the PSP. I have a DS Lite and would like to back up all my games onto 1 card and play them on my DS so my game cart aren't in danger of being damaged or lost. I have read all over that you need to flash you DS to run hombrew and such on it and would like to know if there is any other way as the flashing process looks abit dangerous.

instead of flashing the DS, just use a passcard.
