3.03 OE-B vs. 3.02 OE-B with FF8

Does anyone know if Final Fantasy 8 runs better on 3.03 OE-B than on 3.02 OE-B? I am still running 3.02, but would definitely upgrade to 3.03 if it will run FF8 any better. At first, it would crash at the top of the Dollet tower when fighting Biggs and Wedge. Then I changed the screen size to the smallest and it got past that. Now, every time I cast a spell, it locks up and shuts down. Any info would be great.

well i have 3.03 A and wen i played FF8 it freezes up at the Dollet tower also, dont know about 3.03B though..
