So if this is legit then would you need the Japanese firmware updates to go to 3.10 OE? Or could you use the North American updates instead?
You would be correct Buddy4point0, I took a look both updates and they seem identical.
I would like to add also that the psp seems to be legit. I bought the Silver psp and it arrived today.
I don't see any visible damage to the unit, it appears new. Opening up the umd door it has IC1003 printed on the board. I went ahead and successfully updated it to 3.10 OE A using the N.A. updates, with no trouble.
Theyre cheap cus sum1 nicked out the back of the truck!
they spay painted um! lol jk
Not worth it. Some psp hackers found a loophole in all psp firmwares which allow them to be flashed to emulate version 1.50. Thats what im doing; im running 3.03 OE with a GAME150 folder to emu 1.50. I don't remember exactly what site it was, but its user friendly,
