It is possible to get locations from other countries than the USA. Just search for the city on www.weather.com and click the relevant result. Then the Location ID is in the URL i.e. for Birmingham, UK the address is:

    http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...om=search_city

so the Location ID is UKXX0018

Question with dldi patched still can't save file

i have a SuperCard DS one
and i had dsliveWeather patched with the dldi for scds.it's patched successfully.

but when I launch it in nds
    it shows
    --------------------------
    DsWifi ready!
    LibFat ready!
    Error loading profiles. (FAT)
    Error loading reports. (FAT)
    Error loading forecasts. (FAT)
    Keys: START =save.
    SELECT = view help.
    ----------------------------------

i thought maybe because i didn't create the directory
    "weather/fetch2.php"
after i create that directory and file.
    the error still there.

does anyone have the same problem?

I also am using the SuperCard DS one. You need to make sure that you have a 'DSLiveWeather' folder in the root of your microSD card, and the DSLiveWeather.nds file inside it. It then saves the profiles and reports in that folder. Hope that helps

The reasons you are getting those errors is because you don't have a DSLiveWeather folder.

Just follow my instructions, ill make them even simpler:

    1. Create a folder in the ROOT of your microSD card called 'DSLiveWeather'.
    2. Copy DSLiveWeather.nds into that folder
    3. Run DSLiveWeather.nds on your ds
    4. Enter a profile name e.g. 'Birmingham'
    5. Enter a Weather.com Location ID e..g 'ukxx0018'
    6. Goto 'Currently' tab and press X to connect to wifi
    7. Press A to manually update.
    7. Goto 'Forecast' tab and press A to update.
    8. Press Start to save.

    Simply!

Liusega: weather/fetch2.php isn't a directory on your ds, it's a remote location for the server.

Awesome, thanks. I didn't know pushing X connected and A updated. Looks like those initial errors are only because I hadn't downloaded any weather reports yet. Works very well, awesome homebrew. Thanks!

Hi, I'm using R4DS. I'm have error messages as well.
I have created the DSLiveWeather folder in the root with the DSLiveWeather.nds file in there.

    DsWifi ready!
LibFat failed... <--- this error is different from others
    Error loading profiles. (FAT)
    Error loading reports. (FAT)
    Error loading forecasts. (FAT)
    Keys: START =save.
    SELECT = view help.

I have the chinese kernel. v.1.06
