    Default CAVE emulator

Playing Dimahoo with CPS2PSP and seeing how smooth it runs and how the visibility is great with the screen flipped (and the control's still good); I was thinking it could be a great addition to see a CAVE spécific emulator for games like ESP ra.de. , Dodonpachi, Dangun Feveron, Gunwange...

Hopes some people would be interested and thanks to those who make great things for the psp.

EDIT: Here's three links to the source code of cave.c (used in Mame to emulate those CAVE game)

Yeah pity NJ quit the scene , he if anyone would be he right person to jump onto this one, theres also alot of other arcade boards like the one which Toaplan//Raizing made their games for that would be very possible on the PSP to pull off since most of those oldies use the Motorola 68000 processor which neogeo also used (and about 1000 other arcades/consoles/computers). Makes me wonder if theres a conspiracy against not porting a good version of Mame for PSP cause a certain other handheld device has monopoly on it:P

I doubt its a conspiracy! lol I'm sure people with 'that other handheld' are probably jealous of our full speed gba and ps1 emu's ...plus all our (slowly increasing in quality) commercial titles. ...In all fairness though I'd rather have decent mame emulation on my psp than anything else (thank god NJ filled quite a large void). lol

I guess only time will tell, but I'm optimistic that we'll see some more arcade gems running nicely on PSP.

lol there is no conspiracy. it is a pity that NJ did quit the scene. Perhaps someone else will step up and finish porting the emu.
