I'd so like to get an 8 gigabyte memory stick, but that £152 price tag so expensive. Also, only being able to use some 93% out of the 8GB capacity is just a plain rip-off.

[QUOTE=sinjinn;330883]that is the official price . i will wait for the ebay prices./QUOTE]

Those so called ebay prices are fakes, they're slow, currupt data alot, and suck.

    Question what about the formating?

I was out of the scene for a bit (due to my psp falling a little farther than hoped onto the pavement ouch) but I thought that when the Datel's 4gb add on came out, it was disected and determined that the psp only supported FAT formating limiting the HD size to 4gb? I guess they could update the firmware to support it, I just wonder if it would cause issues for the custom firmware installations. Or could you just copy the files from a 4gb stick onto the 8gb stick via a computer?

If you wait a year, the price is almost guarunteed to go down. at my local costco, the price of a 1gig card went down 50% after a year

    Thats all I was hoping for! Ive got a 32, 128, 512, 1gb and 2bg sticks so I think a 4gb will be enough!

A very important question... Whats the point of 8gb with no emulators and homebrew!?

    Not worth it yet.
SOLD! When the 8gb is everywhere you'll probably get 5 4gb cards for the same price!

Only problem with that is, if you wait a year the 16 GB card will be out, its a neverending cycle

I believe the next MS being worked on is the 32GB one isn't it. Sony and SanDisk are co-operating on it.
