    Default PSX Emulation Problem

I'm trying to run Final Fantasy IX, but every time I get to the PlayStation Screen, the game will freeze. I've tried using a variety of file formats, however none seem to work. What am I doing wrong, and what can I do to fix this? I have 3.03OE-B, and have been using UltraIso to rip the img and then the Simple Popstation Gui v 2.21 beta to put the files onto the PSP.

I believe FFIX has some sort of copy-protection system, and needs to be patched before it'll work on your PSP.

So does Chrono Cross have this protection too...? I know it was made after IX so it's likely that it does...

How do you get around the copy protection? ...better ISO ripper? I use MagicISO myself.

So is this an Iso problem or an issue with 3.03OE-B and Final Fantasy IX? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how remedy this?

The copy I got of IX works perfectly fine? But then again I didn't rip it myself... so I cant be of much help.

Try using magiciso to rip psx dvd to iso file. It may work.

That's odd... You made a folder (any name) in the GAME folder, (not GAME150) and put the Eboot and the Keys.bin in it? Maybe you should try CloneCD.
