Dude, do some basic reading and research before you post.. your repetitive posts are becoming annoing.. so please read this carefully:
At this moment, there is no way to run homebrew on official 3.00+ FW. (THis is why they write in bold on any homebrew site: "Do not use official sony fw upgraders!")
This may (or maynot) change in the future. Until then you are out of luck..

You won´t downgrade to "official" 1.5... you´ll downgrade to a mod version so you can run Map This, psp and psx iso´s on your psp.

    Deniska,

Could you please help me with the PSAR Dump? I´m trying to extract the usbacc.prx and usbgps.prx files with version 2B and I got the following error:
"Can´t find DATA.PSAR in top folder of the memory stick".
I choose the square mode "extract all"

    What am I doing wrong?

    Default Some issues

Just to report that I finally managed to get a signal but like what psyberjock has mentioned, it was painstakingly slow. Yesterday nite, it took me a few hours. It also loses connection too quickly, relative to psp290Test which is quite stable and establishes location within 2-3minutes.

Another point is, if I add POI, MapThis crashes on the next start-up. Setting to 222Mhz doesn't make a difference to me.

    Cheers.

    Default new beta to try...

    Ok, please try this eboot...
I increased the thread priority of gps manager and defaulted the system to 222 at starts (so it acts more like a green-screen proggie)
Also fixed a small bug in geo-search which used to crush the program while searching..

Just replace the EBOOT.PBP from 0.461s beta with the one in the .rar file...

    Hey Deniska

Quick update - I finally made a map today of London, and there's good news and bad. I'm still running your first beta 290 version.

The good news - works like a dream! So accurate as I'm sure you know. Was really impressed with just how on the button it was even when I switched to the other side of the pathway it knew it. As we've all said before though, cold start takes 5 mins to get a fix which is a pain, but once it does, only take about 10-20 seconds, even after restart of PSP. Dropout for me so far has been almost nil - I know others have said it's dropping all the time, but mine seems pretty stable. By the way, I'm running 303 OE A.

The bad news - it's sometimes crashing with the new London map GPSFS file I've created - each zoom level is around 20mb, but there are 8 zoom levels - is that too many? It crashes when you send the psp to sleep then wake it up again, and also when you 'select an action' such as POI lookup etc, locking up completely when you return to the map. But not all the time, just every now and then. Doesn't do it with your 'world map' shipped with older versions, so I'm guessing the problem is with my GPSFS file...

Other than that, I can honestly say I am SO pleased with it all - well done and thank you so much! I'll install the newer version and see if I still get the same issues...

    Hi deniska,

Thanks for the update, I will try it as soon as I get home from work tonight. This is my first experience with MapThis so please pardon any of the noobie questions I have posted.

    Fantastic work!!!! ;-) Thanks.
