MapIt comes up, but when you hit "GSP on" there is nothing? In that case use the green progi...

If not, describe what you do and what you see and what you expect to see.

    Hello,
the psp is never on "GPS on". I read that the model of my psp (TA.082 with a firmware of origin 2.71) was modified to be able to authorize the downgrade into 3.03 (that would be the idstorage which would have been modified) and which it was for that that the gps could not go with this model.
does that say something to you?

    thank you very much!!

Deniska, I was wondering if you are planning to add address lookup for canadian maps in future releases? It seems that Mapthis! only supports U.S address look ups right now. Thanks again for the great app!

As far as I know it's dependent upon the geodata available. If that is the case you'll need to find something similar from Canada. The US geological survey is responsible for the US geodata.

Sorry but no, I doesn't tell me a lot, but again, I may not know the solution to this. Can you describe exactly what is happening? Have you tried the green proggi?

Deniska - Thanks for the awesome effort in developing Map This.

I have Mapthis 0498 running on 3.10OE-A with the 3.10 PRX files and a GPS290 which only arrived today. I had MapThis setup before the GPS290 arrived, and as soon as I connected everything up and started MapThis it detected 5 Sats within 20secs.... Awesome. (Melbourne, Australia - Will test in Auckland NZ next week)

    Now for the help part.
Does anyone know where to get geodata files for Australia and New Zealand. I have created the maps with the Fantastic Global Map Download Software but now want to be able to search for streets etc.

I have found some sites that may be of help, but I'm really not sure what files I am looking for or what to do with them if found.

Below are a couple of links

    http://www.australia.gov.au/173

    http://www.ga.gov.au/nmd/products/thematic/indexes.htm

Any help we be greatly appreciated.

Use the USBHOSTFS Fix (google it, or search on psp-hacks.com/forums, otherwise your PSP TA-082 Usb port won't function, and GPS state won't ever be ON.

    Hope that helps a bit.

I'm really loving this but I was wondering if I could get some help with the GPS. I have the Sony GPS and running the PSP-290 TEST and see that I see two satellites but I cannot get a fix on them. Is there something I need to configure so I can get the GPS data?

Today I recieved the PSP-290. I am having the same problem that lorddct is having. Might be because I havnt played around with it much. One thing I think you might want to impliment in the next release is a setting to stop the screen from dimming and turning off on idle. I know you can disable it but if I am in the XMB I do like my screen to turn off. Great job so far. Can't wait until the next release!
