    Default Trouble with MapThis

To anyone out there that might be able to help,

I have just got the psp-290 attachment to be used with the psp. The issue is that while PSP290Test has no problems detecting the satellites and getting fixes, I don't get any signals at all from using MapThis, after waiting for more than 7minutes. I am pretty sure the maps and all are correctly placed.

Does anyone know where I can find the debug messages for more details or what I should do? Any help would be much appreciated. BTW, I am located in Aust.

    Cheers,

thanks kiusuke. I just don't understand...the same prx's that work fine for me in psp290test doesn't seem to work correctly for me at all in mapthis. Any ideas?

I also tried using decrypted 3.03 prxs but they too don't work..

The 3.03 prx seem to work best for me.
Dump encrypted ones with C+D psar dumper tool and 3.03 FW ugrade psar

But in general, the only advantage of 3.00+ gps modules is that they would "remember" your latest location and use it for faster startup the next time.
I doubt that they could improve the sensitivity of the unit...
