Of course this question was answered a number of times already which leads me to a following request:

I need someone, who wants to contribute to this project to browse the forums and compile a list of FAQ with the answers...
I will take a crack at this for you.

    ./geo-map.sh CA.

    and I am getting this,

rm: cannot remove 'temp': No such file or directory
./geo-map.sh: line 10: wget: command not found

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You need to install 'wget' in cygwin. Which is why you get this error: ./geo-map.sh: line 10: wget: command not found.

you got the LOOKUP working? The Reverse LOOKUP works for me. But my PSP keeps shutting down when I try to look up an address.

Also, I still cannot seem to get any usbgps.prx (other than 2.71 usbgps.prx) working. I haven't got the GPS module yet, Play-Asia aint shipping it out for another 2 weeks. So, could that be the reason it's not working? Could anyone else confirm by running 3.00+ usbgps.prx without the GPS module?

    Default Finally working...

OK, it's finally working... I'm using an euro PSP, with a jap PSP-290 receptor, and both fw 3.03 prx. I live in France. Except the fact that the red marker is often "in the neighborhood" of the road (not exactly over, but perhaps it's because i tried it in my small village, in the Alps... Thanks GoogleMap !), i can tell you it's fine ! Just a question :
In Mapthis, i must begin to select 'GPS INFO' untill Sats are in view (7 or 8, great !) and fixed (never more than 3 or 4, but it's enough), then pushing SELECT to go back to the map. If i don't do that, my psp crashes after 5 or 10 minutes... Is it normal ?

Best regards, Deniska, and thanks a lot for this great work !

maybe Ohio is really small...not too many people. just kidding, I'm compiling CA right now. The two geodata.dat files i downloaded were both 24.3MB, i'll try OH afterward.

Finished compiling, got a geodata.dat with size 1kb, and about 300MB in a temp folder.

    Anyone knows why?

    Hi Deniska,

I have tried all the values and nothing seems to help. The green proggie is still faster at all times.

In any case, if I wait a while, I can still get a fix, just slower. Another problem is when I add waypoints, the program just crashes. Has this problem already been known?

    Thanks.
