I've still got a problem with the gps connection: I'm starting MapThis (everything loads successfully), choosing the map and when I'm turning the GPS mode on, it never connects. Last time I've been waiting for half an hour at beautiful weather
I've tried different combinations with "usbacc.prx" and "usbgps.prx" (2.71; 3.03; maplus) but nothing seems to work
My location is Beckum, a small town near Hannover (Germany). I'm using CF 3.03 oe-c, MapThis 0.461S, PSP 290 GPS, mostly the 2.71 and maplus prx-files and a map of my hometown created with GMDL at standart settings an a min. zoom of 2.
Does anyone of you know a solutoin to my problem?

I just downloaded and tested out the new MapThis! All i got to say is WOW. I get lock on within 1 minute and while going under passage, I use to lose signals. Now I drop for 1 or 2 seconds and gets it back. Now I get 4 lock on in my house. My psp is like 2 feet away from the window. Thats amazing!

    Keep up the excellent work!

    SIGGY,

under gps info does it say gps state is on or off. if it is off you prob have the same problem i had. did you downgrade your psp from 2.71 to 1.5 intially? if so then you need to run a program to fix currupt IDstorage which will fix the problem.

if this isnt the case, then i'm not sure why your gps does not work.

2.71 usbgps.prx has a bug displaying negative lat/lon value correctly. This bug would not be noticed in Japan though, since both lat/lon values are positive there...and they rolled the gps accessory for japan only... ;-)
Thanks, one note to everyone: MapThis works with firmware 3.02OE, the prx the goes into the mapthis folder must be the same in the 3.02 firmware

HI, having some isues here. I keep getting stuck at "- Loading USB Accessory module..." and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction:
I have 3.10 OE-A' , running Map This! under GAME(1.50 kernel) folder with PSP Official GPS(PSP-290). I have the usbacc.prx and usbgps.prx from firmware 3.10 in the "mapViewer" folder. Thank you...

    @ stickfigure
I think something is wrong with your usbacc.prx file. Have you tried out some prx-files from other firmwares (for example 3.03) or repeated the 3.10 decryption?
