    Updating 1.5 > 3.02 Custom

Created the DATA.DXAR successfully then copied into the flasher then ......

When I ran the oeflasher it said copying the 1.50 then it said something abut the 3.02 but said "error DATA.DXAR in use" then the mem stick access light started flashing every couple of seconds.
I can access the recovery menu but everything I try results in the access light flashing for a second or 2.

Has anyone got any idea what this could be?

try this recovery pack instead, it contains the already extracted files so it should work
delete all the .ds_store files if you see any.
take the 1.50 eboot and rename it to UPDATE.pbp and put it in the recovery folder. put the recovery folder in GAME folder. and go to recovery menu and run program

Thx a lot for your help but its still the same.
Interestingly while the mem access light flashes if I hold R it goes back into the recovery menu even though I've selected run the recovery binary!
