You could also start programming on the psp using emulators to run the required software, like PSPUAE(Amiga emu for the PSP).

TyDoPad v0.01 Source Code Released
Moneytoo who released the sourcecode to his aplication which supports wireless keyboards for the PSP. at the moment this app and source are only of note to developers but interesting in the long run if more can be done with it.

Once this is developed more to support more keyboards it should be implemented into every single piece of homebrew. Especially into a word processing type application or an internet or email program.
