That tool just gets better and better, is bucanero working on the project too?, just wondering if we'll see another CD image pre-compiled with saves plus some VMU games maybe.

Sorry for going off topic but...
What happened to the ScummVM daily builds Erwan?, haven't been able to play with them for a while now.

Im just going to say that this tool is amazing. I have the first a little buggy and i hope the next will be much better. I do have to say i have a few ideas in my head that if they look at these posts they can use. I thought this VMU tool thing could be used for many things. Seen as how the VMU has image saves they should put a slideshow feature on it. Also if there is any type of music that can be saved to vmu a music player of some sort. There is so many things that a vmu can do that can make that tool even more interesting.

No, I'm not working on the VMU Tool project. My last version was v0.5.4 . And actually Speud did a new app from scratch, so right now the only thing in common is the name. (To be precise, my app was named VMU Backup Tool)
I'm glad to see that he kept working and improving my idea. It has become far better than I could ever imagine.

Now, about my VMU Backup CD, I created it because I respected Speud's wish to not release CD images of his vmu app with saves other than your own. (something like Emu authors that request that you don't create images of their emulator+illegal roms)

That was one of the reasons I created my VMU Backup CD. I collected all the VMI/VMS files I could get, categorized them, and coded a simple app to browse trough them.

Btw, I would like to keep updating my disc, but I need help from the DC community. If you have saves that you want to have included in the next release, please upload 'em to http://www.bucanero.com.ar/vmu/ (tested with PlanetWeb browser v2.0, v2.6 and v3.0)

An image viewer or music player (MOD or S3M format would work and be easy to do) would be cool. Also, Dan Potter once wrote a program long ago that let you put an unscrambled 1ST_READ.BIN on a VMU and execute it from there. If he still has the source to that, it would be cool to see it incorporated into VMU Tool even though it's not really too useful since the BIN has to be so small. It's mostly cool because it's just such haxxor $#@!.
