Before you can install this firmware, you need to downgrade. Find the downgrader here
Follow the instuctions in the readme.

Yep, but it matters what firmware you're running on.

    Default Question

Hey, I'm new but i saw that tutorial. I don't have the Game150 file but I do have the game file. My psp doesn't have a current emulator. I'm running the 3.40 version update (if that matters). I downloaded you 3.03 OE-C program at filefront and i got the option on my psp to install firmware but when i try to install it says there is an error. There is a corrupted file above that one and I think that is one of your files. Do you know how to get it "uncorrupted" by chance?

you cant run it on 3.40 you must be on an already homebrew capable firmware, the only chance you have is if someone comes out with a downgrader to 1.5 and than you could install this, but right now you S.O.L.
    sorry buddy

Well I HAD a psp with 1.5 fw it worked for some things but I heard that more homebrew was out for 3.30 OE-A fw. So I found ExcruciationX,s "3.30 OE-A pack"so i did that then it worked. Now I have a psp with 3.30 fw. But thats just it won't revert back to 1.5 fw, nor does it have any way to get to recovery menuor any way to Choose the configuration menu. I then tried to install a recovery .pbp file using this for a guide http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/sho...highlight=3.30
well that did not work. so now i am stuck with none of my orginal stuff or any way to install working new homebrew. Does anyone have ANY ideas?!

Splodger15: It looks like this poor chap has unintentionally updated to 3.30 fw, standard NOT OE.
