Agreed,my wife got me one as a birthday present, and it SUCKED! Load times are crappy, there's audio lag on even the smallest video file and to top it all of,the thing crapped out after six days!
All in all,a waste of money, considering that a 4G card is cheaper, faster and practically unbreakable.
    Stick with sticks,yo!

How would the new BluOnyx (http://www.bluonyx.com/bluonyx.cfm) thing work with the PSP? Also, how much do you think this thing is going to premier @ pricewise?

I'm surprised you didn't mention removable HDD/memory card reader combos.

I've got an X-Drive Pro, all I do is stick the memory stick in the reader side, use the UI to delete whatever I don't want or copy it back to the HDD, then I copy the new stuff from the HDD to the PSP MS.

No PC needed, and I picked the X-Drive up for $150 Australian dollars on eBay a while ago ($117 US dollars, 60 British pounds) including postage.

The X-Drive itself can play MP3s and can be connected to a PC to serve as a memory card reader. Its got a rechargeable power pack too, so its just as portable as the PSP. Great for holiday trips.

Anyway, just thought you should know

well i bought the memory card adapter from play asia for about £10 and 2 x 2gig sd cards from amazon for £22 for the pair including postage so a little over £30 for 4gig of storage and this has worked fine for me for ages now.

Default Don't forget about the Hitch

The Hitch USB transfer device is going with me on vacation next week. I plan to use it to transfer the photos I take to the PSP or a spare 2 Gig USB drive.

The Hitch has a port on the left and right sides for any USB device and a LCD screen for easy use. I've used it to move data to the PSP and a USB drive also to move data between USB drives.

It would be nice if it had some kind of built in drive of its own (8 Gig or so) but its only a smart "traffic cop" so to speak.

Costs about $100 at Best Buy or etc.

    Worth a look!
